Miss Friends of Culture Scholarship Competition Sun., July 25, 2010 at the Clarion Inn Hotel, 100 Westbank Expressway, Gretna. Opened to all young ladies 14 -17 but not 18 before June 2011. Must be in school with plans to attend college and possess a performing talent. This is not a beauty pageant!. Judging is based on scholastic achievement, talent, speaking skills and poise.
Winner will win a $1000.00 scholarship to the college of her choice and an all expense paid cruise to the Caribbean where she will promote Friends of Culture's New Orleans West Indian Carnival "Bayou Bacchanal".
